Dr. David McKinley, former Teaching Pastor at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, gave the following statistics on divorce; “Divorce rates among people who have lived together prior to marriage are 67%. Divorce rates among couple who were married by a Justice of the Peace or a wedding chapel are 57%. Divorce rates among couples married in a church are 53%, the national average.” Now watch the divorce rates drop dramatically. “Divorce rates among couples who pray together are about 5% and divorce rates among couples who read their Bibles together daily, are seven tenths of one percent or .07%.” God says in Malachi 2:16A, “I hate divorce.” Read what Jesus says about divorce in Matthew 5:32.
